Born deep within the Winnipeg music scene, LANDSHARK (of the forest) is somewhat of an urban legend. Featuring members of Hot Live Guys, Disastroids, City Champs, Evil Survives and Sodmizing Sara(h) this thrash-rock seizure of riffage has only been spotted in the flesh thrice.
LANDSHARK (of the forest) combines the soothing leads of Guns and Roses ballads with the explosive energy/influence of the Dead Kennedys. After successfully selling out their debut double CD release Booze your Delusion I & II, the volumes were combined; creating the atomic sound on one 7 inch vinyl record.
Rumors of future releases and reunions linger, but until then the LANDSHARK (of the forest) lurks in the aural mist.

Dislikes: Most rappers, sparkles, Raffi, Mojitos, bitches who step on his mojo, last call and running out of cigs
After acute exposure to shitty emceeing, Emcee Greasy Burger was forced by forces unknown; to retaliate. Infected with (what has become known as) “HATE RAPZ” the Grease isn’t just out to just rhyme, this is a rebuttal.

Saviör
Saviör is a Jesus inspired power folk duo out to shine their light on the world. Formed in 2006, Brother & Sister came together after winning Christian Idol competitions in their respective municipalities. Saviör is the first group signed to the Inspirational/Self-help sub-label DEAFWISH light.Born the eldest son of a part-time washboard player, Brother has lived his life with music in his blood. At age eight he smoked a mysterious cigarette and was struck by the blinding light of the lord. Representing his hometown of Plum Coulee, Brother has done the Church of Athanasius the Redeemer proud. His unique guitar style, coupled with his inspirational vocals keep the Saviör candle burning.
Sister was abandon at birth and raised by hippies that did not believe in the ways of the lord. After years of oppression Sister broke out on her own to spread the gospel. The Pride and Joy of Our Holy Christ’s Wooden Cross Baptist Assembly in Orilla, Ontario, Sister is the angelic compliment to Brother’s style.
In 2007 DEAFWISH light released the debut full-length Saviör for the world to behold.

The Chivas Brother
Who is this “brother”?
Guaranteed not blood related, The Chivas Brother has taken a break from his 6 years of post-punk and acoutic mayhem to step the DEAFWISH mic. The Chiv flew in, partied hard and woke up on the studio floor with a mission to rap. The result:
“Showdown” is the summer jam of late 2007.
The Brother is currently supporting the “On the Rag” tour throughout Europe and has no immediate plans to return. Careful ladies! Your soiled mattress stories could end up in your ear drums.
