SUPER BOWL XLIX: LYNCH MEDIA CIRCUS / DEFLATE GATE SCANDAL AND MORE

Soooo It’s that time of year again. ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL???

SuperBowl Weekend is here!! SuperBowl XLIX is tomorrow and features the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. As you may or may not know, there has been a few different things goin’ on that make this game more interesting than some of the snoozers in the past.

Let me start with Marshawn Lynch the running back for the Seahawks (aka Beast Mode). This guy is a monster on the field, and has been a huge part of their success in the last couple years. He has, what people are saying is, “social anxiety” when it comes to the media. Either that or he just doesn’t give a flying F&%@ and is using the attention  he’s getting to his own personal advantage.

I personally think he is a smart cookie; utilizing the media for personal gain. He wears his Beast Mode hat during these absurd interviews and I can GUARANTEE you he’s selling thousands of these. Not to mention he was on Conan O’brien showing no signs of this so called anxiety issue and he was actually funny. Ive always liked folks who go against the grain, I give him two thumbs up. Check this out and judge for yourself:

At the other side of the field we have the New England Patriots and their newest controversy regarding to deflating their footballs during their semi final match up against the Indianapolis Colts. For those of you who don’t know much about the game, deflating the ball allows the it to be easier to throw and catch. This accusation is still under investigation but the media has Tom Brady and Bill Belichick under heavy scrutiny.

It would be easier to say they aren’t cheating if they weren’t known for it in the first place. But, thats not the case. They have been under fire before with incidents like recording other teams hand signals, unorthodox trick plays and having ineligible players scoring touchdowns.

I personally think they are as greasy as it comes, but….it doesn’t fully irritate me because they are doing what they can to win and that’s life is it not??? Fighting for survival, doing anything you can to be the best?

I mean you don’t wanna go through life stepping on peoples toes and making enemies, but life is one big ol game of chess isn’t it… Outsmarting people is just human nature.

So we have some very interesting stories transpiring leading up to the big game. I don’t fully agree with all the antics, but I do admire how fucking bad they want to win and are willing to do whatever it takes. Also, it makes for something to talk about and gives the big game a sense of drama that it might not have otherwise. If everyone played by the rules, this earth would be FUCKING BORING.

Thanks for stirring the pot boys.
